The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it is actually alarmed with regards to the superior number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This sassa status check is as a result of lack of sassa status check infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The services point created for intervention ordeals a significant inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to allow the servicing of all prospects and enhance use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
